I’m sure I’m not the only one who does this, considering we’re all budgeting geeks here, but I like to know what is coming in the month ahead.
March is a three paycheque month for me, aka my favourite time of year. It will also be (probably) my last big month in awhile in terms of bringing money in. I am taking a couple of weeks off of work at the end of March/beginning of April, which means that my total earning in April as of now will be $200 total for the month.
Then, if I am unable to find an internship in my hometown over the summer, I will be making nothing from May through August. So March will be the last time for a long while that I see big paycheques.
The good news is that over Reading Week I took on a bunch of extra work that I didn’t really want to and made me totally exhausted. Now that I have (almost) forgotten those long days and how sore my feet were, I will see the reward. I think in March I will make almost $2000. Which is not bad for someone who is in school full time.
I’m going to have to carefully consider what to do with the money, because like I said, it will be my last income for awhile.
Yay for “extra paycheck” months! I love those as well.. lol! It gives us a chance to beef up our savings.. March isn’t one for us, but that’s ok, i’m sure there’s one on the horizon!
lol!
