It’s been a month now since I got my new ipod. I still have no idea how to use it because I’ve been too busy to fiddle around with it to figure out how everything works. I’d love to start taking pictures with it so I can add some colour to these posts, but I don’t know how to get them from the ipod to the blog. Can anyone help me out?
I’m sure that there is lots more I can do on it, but for now I use it as a clock, to check the weather and to play music. The rest will come with time, I’m sure. It just might be a whole lot of time in my case.
In December, I posted about an iTunes gift certificate I got for Christmas 2011 that I vowed to use by the end of January. Well, here it is almost the end of February and I still haven’t touched it. I thought I made up my mind of what to use it for, but I’m indecisive and still haven’t followed through.
My plan was to buy the two latest books in the Thursday Next series by Jasper Fforde. I probably will only listen to them once, but each is about ten hours that I can listen to while riding the bus, waiting for the train, etc. They’re almost $25/each. I hesitate only because I only have two albums on my itunes (because I buy everything legally), and I wonder if it wouldn’t make more sense to purchase songs with the money instead so that I get get more use out of them by listening to them over and over again. I need to get this sorted out and make a decision soon…because it’s a gift from 14 months ago.
What would you do?
Do you have access to a library where you can download audiobooks for free? You may not get the bestsellers, but it would be free.
If I were in your shoes, I’d lean towards buying songs because I would get more use out of them.
Are you blogging on your iPod? If so what APP are you using? You should be able to “email” a post to yourself and include photo’s in your post. If you hold down your finger on the screen where you want your photo, “insert photo” will pop and you can choose a photo from your iPod library. Then just email the post…
As for your iTunes card.. USE IT ALREADY girl! lol!! Buy one book, put the rest into music. Then splurge and buy yourself an iTunes card.. you deserve a treat every now & then!
Each week on the iTunes store there are two free songs to download. One in French and one in English. They are from young Canadian artists and some are really good.
